Words and Phrases in Morse Code

Find a familiar phrase, hear its rhythm, or make a card to keep.

Each card opens a real phrase guide with its full Morse pattern, sound, flashing light and an image you can save. A slash in the pattern marks a word gap; a space marks a letter gap. Keep those pauses when you play or copy the message.

Choose a starting point

Begin with I love you in Morse code if you want to compare word gaps, or try Hi in Morse code for a short two-letter practice message. For a distress signal, the SOS guide explains why its marks join without normal letter pauses. You can also open the decoder to check a pattern you found elsewhere.

Find words for the moment

These common phrases in Morse code have different jobs. Happy birthday is a longer message that benefits from a saved sound or card. Stay is short enough to practice by tapping. Help is an ordinary word, while SOS is the continuous distress signal. Choose the guide that matches what you mean before copying its pattern.

Morse code sayings are easiest to read when every pause is kept. Inside a letter, the silence lasts one dot unit; between letters it lasts three; between words it lasts seven. A slash in the printed code shows a word break, but you do not send a slash sound. The letter-by-letter row on each guide helps you check the spelling, and the Play button lets you hear the complete rhythm. For a personal design, use the Card, Bracelet or Tattoo options and compare the result against the written code before sharing it.
